Women Making History | Naomi Furgiuele of Nuria
Today is the last day of Women’s History Month so we wanted to end with a woman who is a catalyst for change for women worldwide. We need to invest in women and our final Women Making History feature feels the same way.
Nuria founder Naomi believes in the power of clean skincare and the necessity of giving back. Her background in chemical engineering (with degrees from Princeton, University of Pennsylvania, and Northwestern, just saying), helped her lead teams at some of the world’s biggest brands in pharmaceutical, medical, and consumer products. She loved improving healthy skin, but more than anything she loved the incredible women she got to work with around the world. That’s when Nuria was born.
Nuria (meaning brightness or light), produces quality, plant-based skincare to help consumers look healthier and brighter. Everything from eye creams to facial toners are clean, effective, vegan, and cruelty free. Inspired by many of the women she worked with, Naomi set off to donate a portion of every Nuria sale to girls’ education. So when you buy any Nuria product, you’re not just helping your skin, you’re helping women worldwide.
