Women Making History | Liz Lambert of Bunkhouse

Founder and CEO Liz Lambert has been called “so Texan and so global” at the same time. One look at Bunkhouse’s properties and you can see why. Every property from Jo’s coffee shop to one of their trendy Texan hotels has a unique charm that captures local culture while remaining connected to the global world.

Bunkhouse has single handedly grew the glamping movement in the U.S, converted old motels into hip hotels, and reinvented the luxury retreat. Our all time favorite Bunkhouse property? El Cosmico. On this 18 acre campground hotel, guests can sleep in teepees, tents and vintage trailers. Housed in Marfa, Texas, an old ranching town in the Western Texas desert, the spot has become an international arts mecca. The best is yet to come; a pool, pavilion, cabanas, and bath houses are just a few plans for the future.

Culture and nature meet at El Cosmico and create a desert oasis experience unlike any other. You’re gonna wanna check this out.
