The Offerings

Snow Farm: The New England Craft Program offers a huge array of over 150 studio craft programs; from sewing to glass bead making, wood turning to metal working, fiber arts to painting, and everything in between.  Set in the quaint town of Williamsburg, MA Snow Farm is open to students of all ages. Classes are held most of the year, but they do sell out particularly in summer months so we recommend reviewing their 2019 calendar and booking early! snowfarm.  Check out this February’s class offerings:

Ready, Set, Button Bling!  Learn the art of button jewelry making. Learn to work with all different types of buttons to cut, carve, and set them in fine silver.

Sewing 101: Bags and Purses. This sewing workshop is intended for beginners. Participants will design and make their own bag with trims, pockets, and zippers.

Collage in Relief: Working from the Model. Explore the art of bass-relief figurative collages made directly from the live model. This class will push you to open your creative side and incorporate texture into your work

Kiln Fired Dichroic Glass Pendants. Experience for yourself the beauty of dichroic glass! Design and create various glass tiles and learn to fire and shape them into lovely pendants.

Weekend (Wood) Turning Warrior. A chance for experienced woodworkers to express their creativity and challenge themselves with bowls, carved spoons, boxes, and more

The Rooms & Meals

Participants are invited to stay on the beautiful Snow Farm campus, or can participate as day students. The 50 acre property is located among forests and pastures; a remote and calm location for complete serenity. Housing options include single & double “dorm” rooms, or a private cottage scattered amongst the property. Homemade meals are included when you are residential so students can focus on expressing their creativity and relaxing. Day students can add lunch to their package.
